I recently took a CPR and First Aid training in Calexico, CA with Nick Guzman from Medic First, and he did an amazing job! Nick made the class easy to understand, hands-on, and very informative. He explained everything clearly and kept everyone engaged the whole time.

He also shared that Medic First offers free CPR classes in El Centro, CA, which is such a great opportunity for the community. The free classes don’t include a certificate, but if you need one, you can pay later and get certified.

Overall, I really enjoyed the training and learned a lot — I highly recommend Nick Guzman and Medic First for anyone who wants to be prepared to help in an emergency!

I had a great experience with my BLS renewal! Nick and Thalia were super helpful throughout the process, and Thalia is an excellent instructor—clear, patient, and very knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get or renew their certification!

The CPR class was extremely informative and empowering. The instructor Jazmine Mendoza, explained everything clearly and made sure we felt confident practicing the techniques. I really appreciated the hands-on training, especially learning proper chest compressions and rescue breaths. This class gave me the knowledge and confidence to act quickly and potentially save a life. Highly recommended! This was the best CPR training.

I am a new immigrant and will work as RN. Prior to my deployment, i need to do basic life support with AHA certificate. Since i don't have documents for driving, I search online and found Medic First that is nearest to my place (Escondido). I called them and they gave me instruction on what to do. They led me to Thalia Contreras (BLS TRAINER). She instructed me to do online training with AHA. Once done, i made appointment with her and we do one on one BLS training outside (Senior Center in San Marcos). She taught me very well. She repeated all the vital information needed for quality CPR with expertise. She never stutter, all information were explained in simple terms repeatedly. I was given the time to practice. I did not know that during practice, she was already evaluating me. I passed and now have my certificate. I really appreciate Thalia because she knows what she is doing. She will teach you without pressure professionally. She also gave me a wonderful peace of advice: it doesn’t matter how good your are, as long as you have love for saving lives and no matter how hard obstacles are, you can overcome and be successful. Thank you Thalia and Thank you Medic First. I will never regret i chose you as part of my success. God bless

This experience was awesome. I was able to learn so much about the theoretical and practical aspects of CPR and First Aid, as well as practice my Spanish (the lesson I selected was in Spanish). I would highly recommend this as a good
introductory course.

Great training! It is a hefty training, but Omar and Jazmin make it engaging, that it goes by fast. The pop up questions and open-ended questions keep you involved and make you think. The humor and real-life experiences make learning fun and relatable. The activities help connect everything you’re learning. Overall, it was the best training experience I’ve had.
